The murals in downtown Prescott are very different from murals in
other cities. Each mural is created with a focus on cultivating community
spirit. They are infused with Prescott stories, chosen democratically, and
lovingly painted by local artists. Hundreds of citizens helped to place them
and some have taken years to create. Chances are, when taking the tour; you may
even run into a friend of the murals who can share a story or two about their
involvement in the project. But best of all, the beauty of these murals leave a
positive residual effect that you can take home with you. Prescott Downtown Mural
